ORGANISERS of a charity cricket match to raise money for the family of Shaw gas blast victim Jamie Heaton have been finalising the two sides.
The game, with teams representing Lake Garage CLL and Versateel Saddleworth and District cricket leagues, gets underway at Royton Cricket Club on Sunday at 11am.
Among the CLL line-up will be Crompton professional Simon Wright and overseas amateur Denis Louis, Crompton bowler Ryan Mayes, Royton pro Mohammed Zaman Khan and Paddock players Craig Joy, Matt Smith and Liam Brown, and Oldham professional Hassan Sheheryar.
The Saddleworth team will include Shaw pro and overseas amateur Lundi Mbane and Oral Rankine, Glodwick pro Rehan Rafiq and skipper Nigel Stock, and former Oldham player Carl Jump, who now turns out for Armitage Bridge in the Huddersfield League.
The match, which is expected to be 20 overs per side, will be followed by on-stage musical entertainment.
