Morgan back at Rangers

RUGBY: NEW signing Gareth Morgan goes straight in to the Saddleworth Rangers squad for tomorrow’s vital National Conference League home game against fellow strugglers Skirlaugh (2.30pm).
The young prop, who played junior rugby league at Shaw Hall Bank Road, was recently released by Leeds Rhinos.
Victory for bottom-of-the-table Rangers could lift them four places in the Premier Division, while defeat could have a lasting impact on their chances of avoiding relegation.
“It is a massive game for us, probably the most important of the season so far,” said Jackman. “We’ve talked about it in training and we know what’s at stake.”
OLDHAM St Anne’s are also in need of points as they attempt to rise from the lower reaches of Division One.
Knocked out by top-flight outfit Thatto Heath in the Conference Challenge Cup last weekend, Chris Deakin’s side have another test on their hands tomorrow when Division One title hopefuls Bradford Dudley Hill visit Higginshaw Lane (2.30pm).
WATERHEAD, pushing for promotion from Division Two, hit the road to fourth-bottom Elland tomorrow (2.30pm).
