No place like home

CRICKET: THERE is plenty of action on Sunday, with Heyside and Bamford Fieldhouse chasing semi-final places in the LCB Cup and three ties in the Saddleworth League’s Twenty20 Cup.
Heyside, who caused shocks in the previous two rounds, are at home to Ormskirk, from the Liverpool Competition.
Skipper Nick Campbell said: “Teams from other leagues come to little Heyside in the Saddleworth League and think it’s going to be easy. They underestimate us and that works in our favour.”
Opening batsman John Selby is unavailable, so Steven Firth comes into the XI.
Bamford can also count on home advantage against Northern League side Leyland.
Victory for the Saddleworth League sides would set up a last-four showdown.
