DAVID Best of St Anne’s holds on against Dudley Hill.
THE RELEGATION woes of Oldham St Anne's continued as they ran into the juggernaut of Bradford Dudley Hill.
The 40-6 home loss by Saints keeps them second-bottom in the National Conference League Division One table.
Dudley Hill powered in front after nine minutes when second row forward Kyle Bateman touched down in the corner.
St Anne's responded by forcing three goal-line drop-outs, but couldn't find a path through a solid defence.
St Anne's now have a weekend off to lick their wounds.
SADDLEWORTH Rangers were swamped by a second-half revival at Skirlaugh in the Premier Division.
Leading 28-16 at half-time, Rangers looked to be in prime position to take away two points from their basement battle.
Instead, Skirlaugh ran out 32-28 winners thanks to a run of 16 unanswered points in a whitewash of a second period.
WATERHEAD enjoyed better fortunes in Division Two and appear primed for promotion following a 33-18 home win over Elland which leaves them third in the table.
