Lilywhites roar to victory

FOOTBALL:

MOSSLEY roared to a 5-2 victory at Prestwich Heys last night in a pre-season friendly.

On the mark for the Lilywhites were Matt Landregan, Ben Richardson, Dave Young, Chris King and Nathan Taylor.

Elsewhere, Oldham Boro were made to work for their 1-0 win at neighbours Oldham Hulmeians.

Tony Mills' side eventually broke their opponents' resistance through a James Curley strike in the 85th minute.
