ROYTON’S Mark Doyle came home with three medals. from the Great British Open Karate Championships in Urmston
The 22-year-old clinched the creative and traditional weapons titles despite stiff ompetition from all over the globe.
He also received a medal for becoming British number three in traditional Korean form in the annual event.
“It was a lot of fun coming up against guys from places like Slovakia, France and Pakistan — it was a real eye-opener," he said.
