Nicola gets a flying start

FORMER Hulme Grammar School pupil Nicola White was part of the Great Britain hockey side which got off to a flying start with a 4-0 victory over Japan in Group 'A'.

Alex Danson scored twice and Sarah Thomas and Sally Walton were also on target.

Next up for White and Co. are South Korea tomorrow (4pm).
