Nicola back in the spotlight

OLDHAM’S Nicola White is part of the Great Britain side looking to get the better of Korea today in Pool ‘A’ (4pm).
The former Hulme Grammar student, who used to play for Saddleworth, featured in the opening 4-0 victory over Japan at the weekend.
The team will be confident of bagging another win against a side comprehensively beaten 4-0 by China last time out.
Great Britain midfielder Helen Richardson will be the most experienced player in the team as captain.
ROYTON’S Joe O’Regan was part of the Great Britain water polo squad aiming to pull off a shock by beating Serbia today (6.20pm).
Team GB lost 13-4 to Romania in the opening fixture and are considered underdogs in Group ‘B’.
