ALL eyes will be on Little Hey Street on August 12.
Heyside, the hosts, tackle Bamford Fieldhouse in the LCB Cup (1pm).
Up for grabs is a place in the final and a never-to-be-forgotten appearance at Old Trafford.
The final is on September 16, which could cause a headache for Bamford.
The Hollin Lane outfit are in the last four of the National Knock-out Cup, the final of which is also on that date. First Bamford need to overcome the challenge of York on August 26.
September 16 is also the last day of the Saddleworth and District Cricket League season — second-placed Bamford are at current leaders Uppermill — but the league’s executive committee is expected to rearrange fixtures involving the two sides.
Cup games are also coming thick and fast for Heyside.
Before they can start thinking about the LCB Cup and its rewards, skipper Nick Campbell and his side must focus on beating Glodwick in Sunday’s Tanner Cup final at Moorside CC.
And at the end of the month, Heyside are in the last four of the Twenty20 Cup. See story right.
