Points missions vital

RUGBY:
RELEGATION-threatened Saddleworth Rangers and Oldham St Anne’s need to start picking up points — fast.
Time is running out for both sides to beat the drop in the National Conference League.
RANGERS are bottom of the Premier Division, with three wins from 18 games.
Emerson Jackman’s men go to Wath Brow Hornets tomorrow.
Rangers are without a win in four games, the last of which being a 40-10 defeat at home to Siddal.
ST ANNE’S paid the price for a slow start at local rivals Rochdale Mayfield in their most recent outing.
Twenty points adrift at the break, they did mount a recovery in the second half but it wasn’t enough. They start tomorrow’s match at home to Milford Marlins second-bottom in Division One.
Chris Deakin’s side are eight points adrift of Stanningley, who are two places above them.
