Back on promotion pursuit

REFRESHED after a weekend off, it’s back to business for promotion-chasing Waterhead in the National Conference League Premier Division tomorrow.
The Peach Road side return to action at mid-table Crosfields, and with Dewsbury Celtic breathing down their necks in fourth, they must keep their focus in their remaining eight games.
Waterhead’s joint coaches Paul Geener and Jon Perks are still targeting the title, but as the season reaches its final third, any slip-ups now could prove crucial.
Crosfields will not be taken lightly by the Waterhead coaching team.
OLDHAM St Anne’s showed promise despite losing at home to Milford Marlins last Saturday.
But time is not on Saints’ side as they attempt to pull away from the Division One relegation zone.
Chris Deakin’s men are 10 points behind fourth-bottom Stanningley, and they will need a big effort to get the better of tomorrow’s opponents Hunslet Warriors.
The hosts are setting the pace, although there is very little between the top half-a-dozen teams in the table.
SADDLEWORTH Rangers’ home game against Oulton Raiders has been rearranged for Wednesday (7.30pm) at the request of the visitors.
