LEADERS Uppermill face a host team determined to return to the Saddleworth and District Cricket League's top five tomorrow.
Opponents Saddleworth dropped to sixth in the table after defeat to Moorside last weekend.
With eight games remaining, there is little room for error in the pursuit of a place in next season's LCB Cup.
While Uppermill and Bamford Fieldhouse are set to fight for the title, any number of teams can fill the next three positions.
Glodwick hit back from their Tanner Cup final agony by sweeping aside Austerlands but Bamford, fresh from hammering Heyside in the LCB Cup semi-final, are a different propostion altogether.
Moorside go to Greenfield, and a win for the home side would see them swap places.
As for Heyside, they should be too good for Micklehurst while Hollinwood have a good chance at Austerlands.
Shaw and Droylsden, who are seperated by 12 points, meet at Holebottom Clough.
NINTH-placed Delph entertain Skelmanthorpe, who are 10th, in the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership tomorrow.
WOODHOUSES host strugglers Thornham in Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One before a trip to Stretford on Sunday.
