Lilywhites edge to away victory

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:

MOSSLEY won 2-1 at Cammell Laird last night in Evo-Stik League Division One North.

Chris Rowney opened the scoring for the Lilywhites after five minutes and Cavell Coo doubled the lead halfway through the first period.

Jamie Henders pulled back a goal for the hosts before the break.

Rowney was sent off for a mistimed tackle on Henders, while the home team also had two players dismissed.
