Gail makes it a family double

GOLF:

TERRIFIC Ian Trow, with a two rounds of 69, won the captain’s competition at Stamford.

But he was taken to a play-off after Dan Fox and Scott Troy also recorded 138.

But it proved a husband and wife double as Ian’s wife Gail, captain of the women’s section, won her respective event.
