RUGBY:
FRESH from a week off, Waterhead resume their promotion push at Normanton Knights tomorrow (2.30pm).
Third in Division Two of the National Conference League, the Peach Road outfit are in great position.
And joint coaches Paul Geener and Jon Perks are plotting to realise the club’s ambition in style by being crowned champions.
Four points adrift of leaders East Leeds, Waterhead have top spot in their sights.
But they will have to be on their guard this weekend.
Mid-table Knights haven’t given up on promotion and will make life tough for the visitors.
OLDHAM St Anne’s require points for another reason — to stave off relegation from Division One.
Time is running out in their quest to move clear of the bottom three.
Tomorrow’s home match against Millom offers hope of a much-needed win (2.30pm).
SADDLEWORTH Rangers have no game this weekend in the Premier Division. They are away to Wigan St Pats on Tuesday (7.30pm).
