Whalley shines as Rangers lose

Two tries from James Whalley was in vain as Saddleworth Rangers were beaten 42-24 at Wigan St Pats in the National Conference League Premier Division last night.
Although Rangers led 24-12 at half time — Ben Wood and Anthony Morrison also went over with Jack Bradbury adding the goals — the home side hit back in the second half with five unanswered tries.
