DANIEL Jackson’s hat-trick inspired Famous King George ‘A’ to an 8-1 win at FC Royton in Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.
Jackson was joined on the scoresheet by Will Clarke, who scored twice, Scott Dunthorpe, Damien Schofield and Ryan Shaughnessy. Jake Massey scored FC Royton’s consolation goal on a day to forget for the hosts.
Legends edged to a 3-2 away day triumph at Red Star. On the mark for the away outfit were Leighton Stephenson, Bobby Greenwood and Bobby Fulham, while Carl Beamish and Mark Buckley replied for Red Star.
Rifle Range ‘A’ enjoyed a stunning 12-6 win at the expense of Fitton Hill: Nathan Eastmond scored four times and there were hat-tricks from James Curley and Ryan Fagan, both of Oldham Boro. Steve Barrow was at the double in Coppice United’s 5-1 victory over Crompton House.
Will Ware pounced twice in Limeside King George’s 6-3 defeat of Oddies.
