Mossley close to new signing

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:

MOSSLEY manager Steve Halford hopes to complete a new signing ahead of tomorrow’s home fixture against Goole AFC in Evo-Stik League Division One North.

The Lilywhites boss — who blamed himself for the midweek 3-2 home reverse against Clitheroe — is keeping the identity of his newcomer secret. The new man is likely to be involved against Goole, but suspended midfielder Chris Rowney will be unavailable.



CHADDERTON go to Daisy Hill in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One. Paul Buckley’s side will fancy their chances against a team yet to win.



OLDHAM Boro entertain Irlam in NWCL Division One. Boro, currently 11th in the table, are one place behind tomorrow’s opponents, trailing them on goal difference.
