CUP KINGS . . . Delph seconds celebrate victory in the final of the Drakes Huddersfield League’s Earnshaw Cup. Ian Cotterill hit a six off the last ball as Delph beat Clayton West (276 for three) by two wickets.
CRCKET: DELPH eased to victory over Shepley in the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership.
Kevin Hook’s 40 helped Grant Jones’ side to 184 all out, and they dismissed Shepley for 79.
WOODHOUSES’ Josh Tolley smashed 159, only to end up on the losing side as they narrowly lost to Flowery Field in Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One.
Tolley and Co. tallied up 257 before the last wicket fell, but Flowery Field reached their goal with one wicket to spare.
