RUGBY: A SECOND defeat in five days has increased the relegation prospects of Saddleworth Rangers.
The Greenfield side went down 56-12 in a comprehensive home beating by Thatto Heath.
It leaves Emerson Jackman’s men bottom of the Premier Division in the National Conference League with only four matches to go.
Rangers are likely to need to win them all to stay up.
RELEGATION was confirmed for Oldham St Anne’s when they lost heavily at Egremont.
The 20th defeat of their Division One season was by a margin of 60 points to 12 and leaves the club contemplating life in the third tier.
Egremont, still in with a chance of claiming the divisional title, were 24-0 up by half-time.
