FOOTBALL: OLDHAM Boro last night lost 3-1 to Atherton Collieries — with whom they ground share — in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Mike Mulrooney and Paul Atherton struck early on before James Curley (34) gave Boro hope, but Brad Cooke’s effort in the 71st minute put the game beyond Tony Mills’ side.
