CRICKET: DELPH will secure fifth position in the Drakes Huddersfield Premiership if they beat Shelley tomorrow.
Victory for Grant Jones’ sixth-placed side would see them leapfrog Shelley on the final day of the season.
WOODHOUSES bring the curtain down on an inconsistent season with two matches this weekend in Lees Brewery Lancashire County League Division One.
Tomorrow, Mike Cassidy’s team, 11th in the table, entertain 12th-placed Denton West, who are six points behind the Medlock Road outfit. Sunday sees the side play host to Denton, who are third and closing on Glossop in the battle for the runners-up spot.
