FOOTBALL; ASHLEY Young rescued a last-gasp point for Rifle Range ‘A’ in their 4-4 draw at Limeside King George in Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.
Dale Jackman opened the scoring for the visitors before Joe Heap restored parity.
Ryan Fagan made it 2-1 to Rifle with a neat left-footed finish and Connor Grant extended the advantage just after the interval, prior to Heap pulling one back.
Leon Melia equalised after slotting home from close range and Heap completed his hat-trick to give Limeside a 4-3 lead.
But Young’s superb 30-yard effort with the last kick of the game ensured a share of the spoils.
Paul Badby’s hat-trick helped Fitton Hill Rangers beat Red Star 3-2.
Kane Duffy and Mark Shaw replied for the visitors.
Damien Scott bagged a brace as Famous King George earned a 2-2 draw at Oddies, for whom Kieran Holt and Paul Dolmor scored.
Legends Bar ran out 5-2 winners at FC Royton courtesy of efforts from Leighton Stephenson, Bobby Fulham, Gareth Morris, Frank Byrne and Rick Wild.
The home side’s consolations came from Carl Caffery and Christian Barnes.
