Mossley braced for tough test

NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY player-manager Steve Halford has a fully-fit squad from which to choose ahead of tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North trip to Radcliffe Borough.
But the towering defender, who has led the Lilywhites to the top of the table, expects a difficult encounter.
Halford said: “It is always a tough match when we go to Radcliffe and I don’t expect tomorrow to be any different.
“It is very early days in the campaign, but we are enjoying it and hope to continue the good run.”
Mossley begin their defence of the Manchester FA Premier Cup with a home clash against FC United on Tuesday, October 16 (7.45pm kick-off).
DERBY day sees Oldham Boro entertain Rochdale Town tomorrow in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One. The visitors are just one point better off than Boro in mid-table.
CHADDERTON host Northwich Villa in NWCL Division One. Paul Buckley’s side, ninth in the table, are two positions and one point ahead of tomorrow’s opponents.
