SNOOKER:
BLUE Club ‘B’ are the only team who can boast a 100-per-cent record in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
They lead the way by four points after a 4-2 win at Nimble Nook.
Reigning champions North Chadd ‘B’ — they were known as Little Cot ‘A’ last season — are ominously-placed in second after a 5-1 victory over Three Cs ‘B’.
Three Cs ‘A’, with T Hussain recording a break of 35, climbed to third courtesy of a 5-1 win at home to CBC.
A break of 38 from Mick Smith helped secure a vital win over Steve Bramwell as Moss Inn ‘B’ shared the spoils on the green baize with their ‘A’ team.
Martin Merrington’s break of 30 clinched frame four as Stanley Road registered an emphatic 5-1 win at Royton Band.
