Lilywhites earn cup victory

FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY progressed to the second round of the FA Premier Cup after last night’s 3-2 home win over FC United.
Adam Mather struck after a quarter-of-an-hour for the Lilywhites and netted again six minutes later.
Sam Hind made it 3-0 almost immediately, with Chris Amadi replying twice in the final eight minutes for FC United.
