3-D Dynamos 7, Lokomotiv Cowcliffe 4
IF it’s goals you want, look no further than Huddersfield and District League Division Four - where 3-D Dynamos slammed seven past the spirited and wonderfully-named Lokomotiv Cowcliffe.
The match had to switched to Snipe Clough, but the change of venue worked wonders for Dynamos.
After an entertaining match and with eight goals shared in the first half, Mark Perry, who scored two of the Dynamos' goals, said: "We were slow off the mark but in the second half we absolutely annihilated them ."
Three second half goals from Dynamos put a dampener on Cowcliffe's chances of adding to their own tally.
The best of the home side's goals was saved to the last when Chris Stockton fired a sublime 25-yards free-kick into the top corner with the precision of a bolt from a crossbow.
Dynamos are at home again this weekend when those promotion aspirations will be severely tested with the visit of AFC Lindley, who have won each of their opening four games.
