Bobby dazzles in cup victory

LEGENDS had a Bobby dazzler to thank for their 2-1 victory over Carrion Crow in the Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League President’s Trophy third round.
Bobby Fulham struck twice to secure safe passage to the next stage of the competition.
They are joined there by Kenyon, who beat Blue Club 2-0. Shaun Schofield and Kieran Milne were on target for the hosts.
Oldham GPO advanced courtesy of a 5-3 triumph at Coppice United ‘A’. The result came as a surprise, with Coppice currently second in the top flight and Oldham GPO fourth in David Giblin Division One.
In the only Jack Abbott Premier Division match, Red Star got the better of Famous King George 4-3.
It moved Red Star up to fifth position in the table, ahead of Fitton Hill Rangers on goal difference and six points off leaders Limeside King George.
Famous King George are still yet to win a league match this season.
