Captain leads by example

DARTS: OLDHAM crushed last year’s runners-up Burnley 9-1 in their Lancashire GMC Elite Super Eights fixture at Crompton Conservative Club.

Captain Stuart Holden set the tone with a man-of-the-match performance, winning 4-3 with an average of 88.63 for every three darts thrown.

Oldham’s next game is at Rochdale on Sunday, November 25.
