England call for Connor

RUGBY: SADDLEWORTH Rangers youngster Jack Connor is likely to play for his country on Saturday.
The second-row man is in the England Lions squad for the under-18s international against Wales at Leigh on Saturday.
The 17-year-old apprentice electrician can expect a busy weekend. He is also in the Lancashire squad to play Yorkshire at Ince Rose Bridge on Sunday.
Jack, a former pupil at North Chadderton School, pulled on Great Britain colours last year for a fixture against the Czech Republic. The teenager was named man-of-the-match in Prague.
A Rangers player since the age of 10, he has also spent two years at St Helens on their Scholarship scheme.
