ANDY Dawson is enjoying a good run and in the open match fished on an out-of-sorts Huddersfield Narrow Canal in Mossley he continued his winning streak.
Fishing bread punch at various areas of his peg, Dawson caught quite a few tiny roach to weigh in 1lb 8oz and just beat Martin Taylor (Trabrucco Halifax) into second.
Bread punch and squatt landed Taylor an almost identical catch to the winner, but he fell agonisingly short with 1lb 7oz 6drams.
Eon Wilson thought he had won it with an early 6oz roach and plenty of tiny fish on bread punch. He weighed in 1lb 7oz 2drams for third place.
