SWIMFEEDER, maggot and corn worked the oracle for Nick Andrews in the Socials AC match on Tyle Lodge.
He weighed in 24lb 1oz of carp, chub, skimmers while Steve Mills, in second place, opted for maggot and worm baits cast tight to the island for ide, chub and carp in a 20lb 2oz bag.
Third-best was Steve Platts, with his corner peg coming alive to the tune of 16lb of carp, chub and ide.
o CHRIS Oliver claimed top honours in the Todmorden AS match on Town House.
Using the pole and pellet combination, he bagged 46lb 14oz of carp to record a clear-cut victory.
Runner-up Steve Hall had 27lb 12oz of carp and ide on the pole and meat, while next up Pete Mottram had 23lb 2oz of carp on pole and pellet.
THE final Todmorden AS Trophy match of the year on Croft fishery went to Pete Mottram, who weighed in 40lb 6oz of carp on the tip and corn.
John Mellor was second with a 23lb 5oz net, which included carp on the tip and meat.
DAVE Holland won the latest open match on Wigan’s Sycamore Fisheries.
A match-winning bag of 29lb 4oz was made up of carp, barbell, skimmers and ide on the 16-metre pole and pellet.
Local angler Phil Baxter was second with 20lb 6oz.
Next was Failsworth angler Ken Power (TRI-CAST Highfield), with pellet
tempting
fished close in and at 16 metres tempting 9lb of ide, f1s and skimmers.
