Duck shoot down Anglers

OLDHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE
DOG and Duck caused an upset in the Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League Challenge Cup.
The Division Three leaders caught Anglers, second in David Giblin Division One, off guard in the round two tie.
Dominic Hallum scored the only goal of the game to clinch a 1-0 win.
With seven league wins out six, Coppice United ‘A’ were hot favourites to overcome Jack Abbott Premier Division rivals Crompton House Old Boys.
However, Old Boys, with a solitary point from six games, held the high-flyers to a 2-2 draw. The replay takes place on Sunday.
Josh Briddon and Gareth Hill were on target for the Old Boys, while Khdjer Ahmed and Naveed Butt claimed the Coppice goals.
