A MOSSLEY team made up of mostly fringe players lost 7-1 at home to Warrington Town last night in the Dootson Sport Cup first round.
Kevin Townson (33, 45, 51, 71) struck four times for the rampant visitors, for whom Phil Doran (78) and Phil Mooney (85, 89) also netted.
Ben Richardson scored Mossley’s only goal of the game in the 64th minute with a neat shot across goalkeeper Andy Robertson.
