Norbury upbeat despite late blow

CAGEY: Michael Ward, of Heyside, plots a way past a Britannia Sports counterpart.
Heyside 3, Britannia Sports 4
HEYSIDE lost ground on the leaders in Division Two of the Huddersfield and District League after a surprise defeat at home to Britannia Sports.
Defensive lapses cost Heyside in a match they should have won, having led twice.
But they are still handily-placed for promotion and remain in the Manchester County FA Challenge Trophy, Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup and Barlow Cup.
Club secretary John Norbury is in no doubt where their priorities lie.
Norbury said: "It is great to be in the cup competitions. But the priority for us is to get promotion.
"Having missed out last time by just three points, we are more determined than ever.
"This division is probably the toughest one to get out of.
"It was disappointing to lose against Britannia but a couple of defensive lapses cost us."
A quirk of the fixtures meant that this was only Heyside's second home match of the campaign, with the other eight on their travels around Huddersfield.
