FOOTBALL:

CHADDERTON look set to be without talisman Matty Russell for tomorrow’s Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One trip to Ashton Town.

Prolific marksman Russell has other commitments and is almost certain to miss out against third-placed Town.

Fellow forward Ryan Fagan is also ruled out due to suspension. And he is joined on the sidelines by centre-half John Rogers (knee injury).

EIGHTH-PLACED Oldham Boro hit the road to mid-table Northwich Villa tomorrow in NWCL Division One.

Tony Mills’ men are looking to bounce back from the 2-0 defeat they suffered at AFC Darwen last time out, in the Division One Trophy.

MOSSLEY will restore regular goalkeeper Martin Pearson to the starting line-up tomorrow when they entertain Ossett Town in Evo-Stik League Division One North.

Pearson and a string of fellow first-team players were rested for the Doodson Sport Cup first-round clash with Warrington Town, which Lilywhites lost 7-1.
