SNOOKER:
NORMAL service resumed in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League as Blue Club ‘B’ returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory at home to Nimble Nook ‘B’.
Despite a 48 break from A Hussain which secured the fourth frame for Three Cs ‘A’, North Chadderton ‘B’ took the spoils 4-2 to remain within touching distance of the leaders.
Meanwhile, Geoff Hill’s break of 30 was not enough to win his frame for High Crompton at Moss Inn ‘A’, but his team still came out on top 4-2.
MOSS Inn returned to the top of the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League after a 6-0 whitewash of hosts Cartshaft.
