Happy Hollinwood pull off comeback

HOLLINWOOD ‘F’ came from behind to draw 5-5 against Unison ‘B’ in a cracking Oldham and District Table Tennis League Division Five clash which saw half of the sets go to five games.
Coldhurst ‘B’ produced a dominant performance to claim their fifth win of the season — a comprehensive 8-2 victory at Owls ‘A’.
In Division Two, Birley Moss climbed to within three points of leaders Hollinwood ‘C’ with a 9-1 win over Werneth ‘C’.
Deaf Club ‘A’ won their first match since September with a 6-4 success at home to Coldhurst ‘A’.
Hyde YMCA ‘A’ were denied their fourth win of the season in Division One by Hollinwood ‘A’, who forced a 5-5 after being 3-1 and 5-3 down.
Honeywell ‘A’, including a fourth maximum of the season for David Buckley, recorded their fifth win of the campaign as they defeated Werneth ‘B’ 8-2.
