RUGBY:
FORMER Wigan and Great Britain star Phil Clarke was put on the spot at Saddleworth Rangers.
Now a member of Sky Sports’ rugby league commentary team, he took part in a question-and-answer session at the Shaw Hall Bank Road club.
The event helped to raise money for Rangers under-18s’ two-week trip to Australia in July, 2013.
An under-18s team representing the club toured Down Under over several years and included St Helens loose-forward Mark Flanagan.
