Depleted team run out of fuel

RUGBY:
HOLLINWOOD could field only 11 men but gave as good as they got before succumbing 30-20 at Hunslet Old Boys ‘A’ in the Pennine League.
It was a disappointing turn-out - and officials felt let down by the players who didn’t travel to West Yorkshire for the Division Five clash.
Even so, at one stage in the second half, Hollinwood were on course for a surprise win. But they couldn’t hold on to a two-point lead as Hunslet hit back with two converted tries.
The hosts also struggled to name a full-strength 13, due to first-team commitments.
The Hollinwood club returns to action in the New Year and is on the look-out for new players.
Team members have twice-weekly training sessions and play on Saturday afternoons. Express interest to Fred Halliwell on 07786 468833.
