And Guy Lovgreen’s side will be hoping to carry on where they left off in December.

Oldham, who play Burnley in North Lancashire Division One this weekend, signed off 2012 with an impressive 48-15 defeat of Garstang.

They were due to play a week later, but the game against Bury was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
