HIGGINSHAW are hot on the heels of North-West Counties League leaders Irlam Hornets after a 46-6 triumph at local rivals Rochdale Mayfield — despite playing half of the game a man down. 

Dominating throughout, powerful forwards Chris Yarwood, Carl Fields and Steve Perry were prominent up front, while in-form half-back pairing of Jordan White and Nathan Jewitt, along with new signing Chris Bell, impressed around the rucks.
