FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY progressed to the Manchester FA Premier Cup semi-finals after a 9-8 penalty shoot-out win at Ashton United last night.
The game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes, with Lilywhites duo Gary Gee (25) and Adam Mather (66) cancelling out goals from Chris Baguley (16) and Steve Johnson (57).
