RUGBY UNION:
PLAYERS and officials from Oldham RU were left kicking their heels again after a deluge of snow wiped out all fixtures involving the club.
The first team was due to host Tarleton in North Lancashire Division One, but the Manor Park surface was covered in snow.
It was the second consecutive postponement: the previous week’s fixture at Bury also fell victim.
The club’s second team were also at home — they were set to play Orrell — while the vets were away to Bury’s second string.
