Denis Louis: back to Crompon

CROMPTON has received a double boost in the build-up to the 2013 Lake Garage CLL season.
The club has signed South African Michael Pote. West Indian Denis Louis, a big hit as overseas amateur at Glebe Street last summer, has agreed to return to the side.
The Cape Town-born Pote is a 23-year-old, left-hand batsman and occasional right-arm spinner.
Described in his home country as “a star of the future,” Pote has made an immediate impact in the first-class game in South Africa.
The return of Louis will also be seen as a huge tonic for the Crompton club. He will be wicketkeeper and his consistent batting will back up that of the professional. A lack of runs has been Crompton’s Achilles heel in recent seasons.
