OLDHAM’S Jessica Fullalove defeated the elements and most of her opponents at the Flanders Speedo Cup in Belgium.
The 16 year old finished in second place for Great Britain after competing in the 50m, 100m and 200m backstroke races.
She was also a member of the 4x100m freestyle relay team which bagged gold — and scooped 300 Euros in prize money.
Jessica now looks forward to the British Open in March — a chance to win a place on the GB team for the World Junior Championships in Dubai in August.
