DOG and Duck registered a comfortable and expected win at home to Abbey Inn at Crossley playing fields in Division Three of the Midas Plumbing Oldham Sunday League.
The match went ahead due to the effort of the home side's players and officials, who cleared the pitch of snow.
The game brought together the top two sides in the division, with Dog already promoted.
A John Leach treble was the highlight for Dog. He grabbed two goals before the break and his third 10 minutes after the restart.
Jamie Clark and Robert Christie scored the other Dog goals late on.
