FOOTBALL: OLDHAM Boro manager Tony Mills has set his sights on qualification for next season’s FA Cup.
The top six teams in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One earn the right to compete in the famous knock-out competition.
Boro go into tomorrow’s ‘home’ clash against landlords Atherton Collieries — with whom they share the ground — in seventh position.
Mills’ men trail sixth-placed West Didsbury and Chorlton on goal difference.
Boro have their work cut out tomorrow, with Collieries flying high in fourth position.
Chadderton have a free weekend in NWCL Division One.
LEADERS Mossley entertain Salford City in Evo-Stik League Division One North.
The chasing pack are closing in on the Lilywhites, with second-placed Trafford three points behind with three games in hand.
Two men who will not be involved are Brad Yearwood and Shaun Williams, who are likely to join Congleton Town.
