King Kennedy hits right note

SNOOKER: A SUPERB break of 55 from Martin Kennedy inspired North Chadd ‘B’, who returned to winning ways in the Oldham Amateur Snooker League.
In their first victory for seven weeks, they overcame Three Cs ‘B’ 4-2.
Despite a poor run of form, North Chadd ‘B’ remain in striking distance of top two Blue Club ‘B’ and North Chadd ‘A’.
Mick Webb posted a break of 30 for Moss Inn ‘B’, who got the better of their ‘B’ team 5-1.
Meanwhile, Deaf Social produced a great performance on home soil as they swept aside Springbank 6-0.
TARA ‘A’ climbed to third spot in the Saw-Tech Shaw Snooker League after a crushing 6-0 win over Comrades ‘A’.
Crompton Cons were bottom in the early stages of the season, but they have crept up to fourth place. In their latest fixture, they defeated Tara ‘B’ 4-2.
The remaining clash saw Comrades ‘B’ overcome Cricket 4-2.
Club delegates are reminded that the next meeting is at Tara Leisure tomorrow (8pm).
