FORWARD-THINKING: Springhead's Josh Walker is watched closely by Lee Mills, of Horbury.

FOOTBALL: CENTRE-HALF Mark Ashworth scored the winning goal in extra-time at Ashfield Crescent as Springhead moved into the semi-finals of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.
On the back of an impressive run of form in the Bridgewater Office Supplies Manchester League, Lee McAllister's side has emulated the success of the Springhead team managed by Keith Jagger two decades ago.
And McAllister reckons this current team can now reach the prestigious final.
McAllister said: "I don't see why not; it's the best chance we have had in nearly 20 years."
Jagger was one of the spectators on a bright but cold day in Lees.
A tight but dour first period ended goalless, but Springhead broke the deadlock after 71 minutes.
A teasing cross from substitute Jack Beasley was met by the head of Richard Bennett who claimed his 17th goal of the season.
Horbury levelled to set up a tense finish and, as the Wakefield side pressed strongly for a winner.
Ashworth's reward for his work at the other end of the pitch came in the third minute of the first period of extra-time.
Nick Fitzpatrick's flag-kick was spilled by the Horbury goalkeeper and there was Ashworth to gratefully sweep the ball home.
